As the 26th President of the United States, Teddy Roosevelt was one of nature’s biggest advocates.  He protected over 200 million acres of land while in office, making conservation a top priority. He used his presidential authority to enact 150 national forests, 5 national parks, 51 federal bird reserves, and 18 national monuments.

Who better than a champion of the environment, to inspire us to explore and travel, while sparking an activism of our own to protect the lands we have today.  I’ve included Roosevelt’s wisdom on some of my husband’s best photos.

Happy Travels!
